Relevant Experience

I started my teaching career in 2013 as an ESL teacher for Koreans in the Philippines. I have taught 5-8 years old students during the Korean Winter camp. I joined ACAE Myanmar in 2015 and started as an Early Childhood Educator handling different age groups. As an Early Childhood Educator, I make sure that the children are learning through play by preparing age-appropriate activities according to the children’s interests and abilities.

As an Assistant Educational Leader, I am working collaboratively with Preschool educators to give them support in curriculum planning and implementation. I am also assisting the educators in setting up the classroom, behavioral management, and making sure that the safety and wellbeing of children and educators are met. I have a passion for teaching Special Needs children and attended different seminars and training to assist and support them in class. I wrote IEP and worked collaboratively with the educators, parents and therapists to help the Special Needs children.

Beyond the classroom, I enjoyed baking and made different cakes and pastries for families and friends. I also like travelling and enjoy discovering different cultures and foods.

Yin joined ACAE in 2018 after she came back from the U.S. to live back with her parents. She began her teaching career as a part-time private tutor in 2011. From tutoring kids as her part-time job, she became interested in exploring more about teaching. Therefore, she
decided to go back to school again and get her teaching degree. When she was studying to
become an educator, Yin worked as a teaching assistant at Happy Hall Schools in San
Bruno, California. Yin is passionate about building strong relationships with the students and educating the whole child.

Beyond the classroom, Yin mostly enjoys spending time alone at her home. She loves
watching movies, listening to music and reading books. Yin sometimes loves to hang out with her friends and colleagues too
